Once upon time there was a couple moved to a new neighborhood and one morning while they’re having breakfast, the lady looked out the window and saw her neighbor hanging the clothes on the line to dry and she noticed the wash was so dirty. She said her husband that neighbor does not know how to wash, she must not even use detergent. Week after week out this window she saw the clothes and made the same comments about how dirty the laundry was. One morning she looked out the window and clothes were as clean and bright as could be. So she couldn’t believe it. She called her husband in, said look finally they learned how to wash. Then the husband smiled and said “honey, I got up early this morning and cleaned our windows ”. The problem wasn’t that the neighbor’s laundry was so dirty, the problem was the window the lady looking out was not clean.

Many times how dirty our neighbor’s clothes are depends on how clean our window is. A couple years ago I was in the same boat as this woman. I was always complaining such as I’m not pretty or fit enough, people already took all opportunities. I’m not lucky like them, I don’t have a wealthy background as my friends, my boss makes a lot of profit and pays me really low /a penny/… How unfair life is, right?

From time to time I realized that all of its reasons are that I’ve trained myself to be negative, disrespectful. So within a few years a miracle happened in my life, what was it? My miserable life turned into miraculous by changing my attitude positively on everything. I stopped complaining and started gratitude all the time. As a result I haven’t gotten prettier, lost weight ,either fixed my relationship with dad but I had built high self esteem, surrounded by very successful and positive people, and surprisingly I was promoted.

The problem is not external, it’s internal.

If you are always finding fault, complaining about the traffic, and air pollution, political chaos, and criticism of your spouse, may I suggest your window is dirty? Most of the time we are looking through a tainted filter. At some point look in the mirror and say maybe I’m the one that needs to change.

It is so important every morning to put on this fresh new attitude. “I’m excited about today, I get to go to work, I’m grateful for this job. I’m not focusing on what’s wrong, I’m grateful for what’s right in my life”. What are we doing? We are cleaning your window. Most people really don’t notice their attitude, but that’s where the power lies.

All right. Don’t you want to achieve what you are pursuing, maybe to raise your income, having a perfect couple, changing your environment, cruel people around you? Unfortunately most people focused on their goal and they forget about gratitude.

Harvard psychologist Williams James: “The greatest discovery of my generation is that a human being can alter his life by altering his attitudes of mind.”

Attitude has a direct impact on how you communicate and collaborate with others, how you contribute to your work environment, and your performance and responsibilities. Ultimately, your attitude shapes your success and your happiness. Other things being equal, but the person with the best attitude usually wins.

Make the changes right now. Get rid of anything that’s holding you back, being negative, finding fault etc. You and I and we no matter what your unique situation, your struggle, you trauma, your abuse, you scars. No matter what they are, you are not a product of your past, not a product of your environment. We are always a product of our attitude and how to navigate through storms.

So if you wanna alter your attitude and make your life wonderland please don’t forget to be grateful for small things everyday. I kindly invite you to join my online community where members shares their gratitude and spread positiveness on their environment which is a facebook group named Attitude of gratitude or “ЭерэгболГоё” .

Let’s learn to thank for hard times they made us appreciate the good times, thank for your failures they were needed for your development. Thank people in your life and those you love and those you learn from. Gratitude it’s the key that unlocks the door to everything that we are seeking in life. Please give it a try now. Be positive, spread gratitude and conquer the 2021 together.
